Juhta is a multifunctional piece of furniture made to last from father to son, or vice versa. It serves the needs of children and adults alike growing with the user. When kids grow up, piles of old toys often end up in landfills creating an enormous environmental load.

With Juhta we wanted to make a difference. It remains useful, first serving as a children’s toy and later as a tool for domestic chores. All you need to do is to turn it around and a rocking horse transforms into a basket for firewood.

Juhta was created in collaboration with designer-maker Jalmari Laihinen. Home store Faberin is selling the product on its online marketplace.
