I am a Finnish product designer specialising in furniture. My passion is to create poetic and playful products that enrich people’s lives by making the everyday experience more delightful. I want my designs to spark people’s imagination and encourage interaction and reflection.

In my work there is often a dialogue between contemporary and traditional, industrial and handmade, design and art. I believe these contrasts lead to more meaningful and exciting outcomes. To me, every project is unique since my process is always guided by the material properties, manufacturing technologies and user needs.

Having worked in the furniture industry in the UK and Finland for several years and teaching product design at a university in China, I have gained broad experience and knowledge in the field. Living in different environments has provided me with valuable insight into these cultures, making me more open to new ideas and perspectives.
